Our latest publication entitled "Porous Polyisothiocyanurates for Selective Palladium Recovery and Heterogeneous Catalysis" is just accepted for publication in Chem, Cell Press.
In this study, we reported porous polyisothiocyanurates bearing in situ-generated thiourea binding sites as sorbents for Pd(II) combining high uptake capacity, fast kinetics, and stability under acidic conditions with high selectivity and as ideal hosts for Pd nanoparticles to form highly efficient heterogeneous catalysts for the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction. This research has been funded by NCCR Catalysis
Congratulations to Kyung Seob for his excellent work!
When elemental sulfur meets perfluoroaryl-SNAr chemistry!! Our latest publication entitled "Perfluoroaryl-Elemental Sulfur SNAr Chemistry in Covalent Triazine Frameworks with High Sulfur Contents for Lithium-Sulfur Batteries," is just accepted for publication in Advanced Functional Materials!! Congratulations to Sang-hyun for this fantastic work!
After two very successful years in the MONA Lab, Daeok recently left the group to join to
the Livingstone groupat Imperial College London as a postdoctoral fellow. We thank Daeok for his unique contributions on dynamic gas separation and hierrachically porous MOFs. Good luck Daeok!!
A MOF recepie for hydrophobicity!! Our manuscript entitled "Highly hydrophobic ZIF-8/carbon nitride foam with hierarchical porosity for oil capture and chemical fixation of CO2" is just accepted for publication in Advanced Functional Materials. This publication also marks MONA Lab`s 70th publication! Congratulations to Daeok for this excellent work!!!
A Cationic Porous Organocatalyst!! Our manuscript entitled "Charged Covalent Triazine Frameworks for CO2 Capture and Conversion" is just accepted for publication in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. Congratulations to Onur for this outstanding publication!!!
After 3 successful years and producing 17 publications in the MONA Lab, Onur recently left the group to embark for his new journey as a Research Fellow at the IBS center for Multidimensional Carbon Materials, UNIST. We wish Onur good luck and thank him for all his continuations to the MONA Lab!
